Maynooth Theological Journal:
A Forum for Current Research

MTJ

St Patrick's College, Maynooth is launching the Maynooth Theological Journal in the Spring of 2011. This annual journal will provide a scholarly forum for the students of St Patrick’s College at undergraduate and post-graduate level, to share their theological work and research interests.

The Maynooth Theological Journal (MTJ) is now opening its inaugural call for papers. Students may submit papers in the areas of biblical, moral, systematic, historical, pastoral, or liturgical theology. Post graduate dissertations or undergraduate papers may provide a source of material for submissions.

Papers should be a maximum of 1,500 words. A referral committee has been formed to review submissions. While the submitting of papers is encouraged, it must be noted that not every submission will be published. The quality, content, and number of papers received will be taken into consideration.

The closing date for submissions is Monday, 31st January 2011 (the first day of lectures in the second semester). Papers are to be submitted by e-mail as a Microsoft Word attachment to mtj@spcm.ie
