“The Maynooth Union was founded on the 27th of June, 1895, at a meeting held during the Centenary Celebration of St. Patrick’s College, Maynooth. The object of the Union is to foster a spirit of mutual sympathy between the College and its past students and friends. For this purpose there will be an annual reunion at Maynooth. Old friends will thus be brought together and memories of College days revived and questions of interest will be discussed”
Constitution of Maynooth Union, June 23rd 1896.
This tradition has continued through the years and the Maynooth Union continues to host an annual reunion, organised by the Union Committee. The new President of the Maynooth Union is Dr. Thomas Corbett.
We look forward to welcoming in a special way the Jubilee Classes.
Concelebrated Mass will be celebrated at 3pm on Union Day, followed by a banquet.
On the previous evening, Monday 13th of June, the College is delighted to host the Diamond, Golden and Silver Jubilarians to a special meal in their honour.
Invites are being sent to each member of the above classes. If you wish to confirm your attendance at this years Maynooth Union, and/or book accommodation, please email Donal.A.ONeill@may.ie
