Rev Myles Rearden CM, RIP

It is with deep regret that we announce the untimely death of our esteemed and beloved Spiritual Director, Father Myles Rearden CM. He passed away suddenly on Ash Wednesday, 25th February 2009 while doing the work that he loved.

We ask you to remember him in your thoughts and prayers. Please also remember his family and the Vincentian family in this time of bereavement and loss.

Arrangements for the repose and funeral

Thursday 26th of February

The remains of Fr. Myles Rearden, CM will repose in St. Mary’s Oratory throughout the day.

  All are most welcome to come and pay their respects.

5.30pm

Mass in St. Mary’s Oratory (Celebrant: Fr. Laurence Murphy)

Followed by transfer of Fr. Myles Rearden’s remains to College Chapel.


Friday 27th February
 
2.00pm

Mass in College Chapel (Celebrant: Mgr. Hugh Connolly)

Removal afterwards to Castleknock College (Fr Rearden’s Religious Community).


Saturday 28th February

11.00 a.m.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Castleknock College

followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
