Biography:
Undergraduate and postgraduate studies in UCD (BA, MLitt and PhD). Lecturer in Near Eastern Languages UCD (1997-2007). Member of the Irish Biblical Association (executive committee 2005-2006).

Research Interests:

  • • Semitic languages
    • Judaism and Islam and their textual traditions
    • The Torah commentaries of Rabbi Shelomo Yitzhaqi (Rashi, 1040-1105)
    • Religious and linguistic identity in the Near East
