Keynote Speaker:
Santiago Guijarro Oporto
Santiago Guijarro Oporto is Professor of New Testament Studies at the Pontifical University of Salamanca and has been Vice Rector there since 2002. Ordained in 1981, he pursued his biblical studies in Salamanca, Washington and Jerusalem and holds a doctorate in Biblical Theology from the Pontifical University of Salamanca. He was Director of the Biblical Apostolate for Spain from 1982 to 1997 during which time he coordinated a new translation of the Bible into Spanish.
