Dr Ann Marie Mealey obtained her Ph.D in Theology from Saint Patrick’s College, Maynooth, having also studied at La Sorbonne, Paris IV, Institut Catholique de Paris, and the K U Leuven. Dr Mealey teaches moral theology in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at Leeds Trinity.
She has a particular interest in the work of Paul Ricoeur and how it relates to current debates in Catholic moral theology. She is the author of The Identity of Christian Morality (2009), as well as other scholarly articles that relate to her area of specialism.
Dr Mealey is a member of the theological reference group for CAFOD in Great Britain and is the current secretary of the Association of Teachers of Moral Theology in the UK.
