Fr. Lane was Rector of All Hallows College, Dublin and Spiritual Director at the Beda College in Rome. His books include A Priesthood in Tune (1993), The Cry of the Christians (2000) and Priesthood: Changeless and Changing (2005).

Opening of the Year Retreat, September 17th 2008: The Opening of the Year Retreat was preached by Bishop John Fleming, the Bishop of Killala. First Year students took their opening retreat in the Cistercian Monastery, Mount St. Joseph's Abbey, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. This retreat was led by the Spiritual Directors of the College.
We warmly welcome Sr. Margaret McDermott to the College, and wish her well in her role as Spiritual Director.
